Description: This is a collection of 6 different original color photographs which are all 5 1/8 inches by 3 5/8 inches in size.  The photographs were taken on May 15, 1983 during game 4 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs between the visiting Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks at the MECCA in Milwaukee Wisconsin.  All of these pictures are one of a kind and were taken by Wisconsin sports personality and tennis bon vivant Howard Kleuter.   Howard used a type of early color high speed film because the details are unbelievably superb. There are four action shots featuring Dr. J (i.e., Julius Erving), three of which include Moses Malone and/or Bob Lanier.  There are also two pictures of Moses Malone warming up with Maurice Cheeks.  This is the only game that the Philadelphia 76ers lost on their way to a record setting 12-1 post-season record and the 1983 NBA Championship.  .  This is fantastic photographic history and a unique collection.

Interestingly, Howard Kleuter made sure that in four of the pictures the MECCA center-court imagery was included, adding the dimension of proper framing which adds considerably to the collectability and desirability of these photographs.  Finally, there are four additional pictures including the final score shown on the scoreboard, two pictures of the sold-out audience, and one depicting the Milwaukee Bucks mascot doing a jig at center-court in the middle of the MECCA.  When you consider what mediocre as well as undated black and white pictures go for today, this price of only $200 per picture of Larry Bird is very reasonable.  In particular, the picture of Larry Bird about to shoot a free-throw is perhaps the best single image we have ever seen captured of this iconic player.
