Royal Australian Regiment Red Rooster Patch...  

I am not sure of the origins of the Red Rooster in the Australian Military during the Vietnam War. Apparently there was a cry "Up the Red Rooster...and More Piss". I would say that it was mainly cried out in the various unit canteens (bars). I believe it was sometimes used by 21 Construction as well.
