For sale here is a vintage Somso didactic model of
HUMAN DIGESTIVE TRACT.
Made by Somso in Bavaria, Germany We are not sure of the date but we think it was made around the 1970s-1990s.
This relief model is of the partially open digestive tract, it shows the alimentary canal from mouth to anus it separates into three parts with the stomach and large intestine having removable bits.
It is mounted on a green wooden board.

CONDITION
The model is made from somsoplast and has two hooks to hang it from, as with any vintage item there may be signs of wear, whilst the overall condition is very good all parts are present, however there are a couple of chips to the corners of the wooden board, and there may a few cosmetic marks.
Obviously this item is not new, it has been used in classrooms so there may be some light cosmetic wear, I have tried to photograph any wear I could see such a flaking paint, cracks or chips so please do check all photos carefully.
New this model retails for around £800.
