A very well done original child’s Expressionist oil pastel drawing done by Dana Albertson who at the time was in Grade 3.  Inscribed and dated 1996/1997 in blue ink on the verso paper backing of the frame.  Depicts a dual landscape night and day scene showing a house at dawn and again at dusk.  Nicely done, especially for the age, with vigorous but controlled line and good capture of light.  Protected behind glass and professionally matted in a rich blue matting and framed in a wood frame with black finish.  Backed with brown paper and ready to hang.  Retains Deerfield Gallery, South Deerfield, MA framers tag on the reverse side.

In Very Good overall condition.  Clean and crisp.  No loss to pastel or residue on glass.  Exhibits a vertical fold line in the center and a small tear to the top left edge.  Displays quite handsomely.

Measures 20 1/2” x 8 1/2” and 25 1/2” x 13 1/2” with the frame.
