4to, pp. 156, 22cm. Clean gray boards with black lettering on front and spine, photographic DJ that is lightly rubbed but clean and still vivid. Nice b/w frontispiece of Otto and Max Hausser. Several b/w photos throughout with a few color photos in the center. The endpapers are b/w photo of a diorama compiled of about 3000 Roman figures and siege equipment for the "Massada" Exhibition. 

"The firm of O. & M. Hausser was founded by the brothers Max and Otto Hausser in 1904. The Company's first major factory was in Ludwigsburg, and from here an enormous range of figures of all types, under the trade name "Elastolin" were manufactured."
