NGC authenticated and graded MS 65 BN.  Lustrous bluish steel and olive with hints of the mint red remaining visible. Nicely struck and choice except for three spots of darker toning with traces of carbon within the dentils under the 85 and at the top of star 2. Another spot at star 12 contains a bit of crud, not carbon, that may be removable. Otherwise this cent is choice. E-MDS, die state b early, with faint traces of a die crack on the rim outlining a large rim cud that is forming from star 6 to star 8, clearest over star 8. Tied for CC#5 in the Grellman censu
