Comic appears to have several first appearances.  ComicBookRealm lists this as the first appearance of Annie while Comics.Org lists this as the first appearances of Junie and Joanie.  It also lists John Stanley as one of the main creators working on this issue.

Staples seem tight, pages still attached in middle and spine.  Spine has a split on the bottom, a little under 1 1/2" long.  Ring on cover from something being set on it.  Notch on spine (about 1/8") just above bottom staple (see photo) goes through all pages.  I have not found any writing in the book.
