SCI-FI BLOCKBUSTERS (RARELY SEEN ONE-SHOT)

Poster magazines were a distinctly 70s piece of memorabilia. They were basically one huge sheet of paper, one side of which was a giant poster, while on the other side, were photos and text. Then, the whole thing was folded up into 8 1/2" x 11" (eight panels) magazine size. This rarely seen poster magazine anomaly has one 8 panel folded up giant poster "nested" inside another 8 panel folded up giant poster. Finding this (at all) in collectible condition is difficult since most fans put up the posters which resulted in thumbtack holes, edge tears, old scotch tape, and general dog-earing of the corners.

Articles: Temple Of Doom Is Box Office Boom, Gremlins: So Cute They’ll Make You Crazy, The Last Starfighter, Star Trek III: The Search For Spock.

Posters: Indiana Jones & Mr. Spock (collage).

Condition: complete but well worn with wear to all edges and wear/rounding to all corners, some splitting at internal panel “seams” of giant pull out posters. Mr. Spock Poster has pin-holes at four corners as well as evidence of dried up tape at corners. Well used, it has considerable creasing at it’s corners, dog ear corner creasing as well as wear to all edges.

All magazines are packaged with Collectors in mind. They will be individually bagged, and sandwiched between two pieces of over-sized cardboard. This not only helps to prevent magazine edge damage during the shipping phase, but it also helps to prevent folding and rough handling of the magazine(s). This secured package is then put into a cushioned bubble mailer, helping to ensure you will receive your item in the same condition that it leaves my crypt in! Please read descriptions carefully as I cannot offer insurance or refunds, and am not responsible for items once accepted at the Post Office. A quote for postage cost for combined shipping for multiple purchases is always available. Thanks very much for your interest in my items!
