While we assume it should go without saying, we still feel compelled to clearly state that this is NOT the First Edition/First Printing of this title!

The TRUE First/First of this title was published by Herbert Jenkins in 1921.

This book was published in 1978, many decades later.

This copy is, however, the First Barrie & Jenkins U.K. Edition.

The First Printing of this particular edition.

Often times simply referred to as a First Edition Thus.

This rare treasure has some clearly visible wear, but is still in lovely, Highly Collectible condition!

The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no internal foxing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE.

The binding is firm and holding tight!

All of the pages are present, fully attached and surprisingly crisp and clean!

Some general/shelf wear along with a noticeable lean/slant, creases/wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, and creases/wear to some of the pages, NOT affecting the text!

All of the wear previously mentioned is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered.

The original dust jacket is price-clipped, otherwise fully intact!

Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing and marks.

Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners, on both the front and rear inside jacket flaps and near/along the edges!

The wear, particularly near/along the edges, is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered.

We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book.

We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear.

Once again, we want to reiterate that the wear to both the book and the dust jacket is clearly visible!

All of the wear should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.

Numerous photographs from various angles were taken for your consideration/inspection.

Please closely and carefully view ALL the pictures for further clarification!!

Following the conclusion of the auction, payment must be received within three days or the book will be re-listed.

Please feel free to contact us with any and all questions. We are very proud of our 100% positive feedback/ranking and offer an easy, no questions asked return policy so you can buy with confidence! Thank You!!
