Simple to use, once the reader is connected correctly the red power led will come on, now press the red button and hold for 2 - 4 seconds, then release, now count the green led light flashes, refer to the included paper instructions. Don't worry if you connect the unit to wrong polarity the error led will come on and stay on until the polarity is correct. The code reader also has a fuse that will protect the cars systems.
