What's In the Box?
- Solar Lights
- Solar Charging Panel
- Ground Spike (for solar panel)
- Rechargeable Battery
How to Maintain Your Lights
For best charging performance, simply wipe the solar panel with a damp cloth once or twice a year.
Remember... if the panel gets too dirty, then the battery won't charge properly and your lights won't stay lit as long as they should at night.
How to Test Your Lights
The solar panel will only charge when switched on. The rubber-coated switch is on the rear of the solar panel.
You can test the lights during the day, by switching on the solar panel, then covering up the front of the panel with your hand.
When Should I Replace the Rechargeable Battery?
In future years the capacity of the battery will slowly deteriorate and will eventually need replaced.
You will eventually notice that the lights don't stay lit very long at night or become quite dim.
How Do I Replace the Battery?
You'll need a small star-headed screwdriver.
Simply unscrew the back plate and lift out the included battery.
Insert 1x standard AA rechargeable battery.
It's the same rechargeable battery used in kids toys or the green coloured batteries in cordless phones.
Remember to tighten up the screws to keep the panel waterproof... but not too tight (in case you break the plastic).
