We've put together this bundle for fans of all things naval. The
discounted collection includes a complete Ideal U.D.T. Boat and
Mini-submarine with Crew, 11 Atlantic Sailors and 2 Marx recast
inflatable rubber boats with 2 men each to row them. The U.D.T. Boat was introduced in the 1950's and has been popular ever since. When an independent manufacturer acquired the mold in the 1990s, he produced these in limited numbers. The set evokes Richard Widmark in "The Frogmen," and similar service films.
The set is made up of a 4-piece snap-together U.D.T. boat (which contains a non-firing cannon and a tilt-up ramp to launch the sub), a 2-piece snap-together mini-submarine (which comes with a crank and propeller that can be attached to make it run on rubber-band power following enclosed directions - these 2 pieces do not snap on), a captain for the boat, a frogman to sit on the submarine, a swimming frogman and a frogman about to dive from the boat, as well as 6 shells for the non-working cannon. Sold disassembled, mint-in bag. The set has been stored in our smoke-free, climate-controlled warehouse since it was initially purchased from the manufacturer in the 1990s.
The Atlantic Sailors are an original Italian production set from the 1980s. They come mint-in-box. The Marx recast inflatable boats and crews were produced recently. The set included 2 boats and 4 rowers in 2 poses. They come mint-in-bag.
