Long Beach California Early 1909 VINTAGE Photos Street Scenes.


Collection of 2 scrapbook pages (10x13) with photos glued to scrapbook paper. Photos are firmly attached but glue does not show through photos and glue appears to be dappled where attached.


Among the identifiable photos are:


Sheet 1: Long Beach, CA Bellevue Lodge (dated March 18, 1909). 1 postcard size showing hotel front with guests. The other is a 3 1/4" square of the side of hotel with guests. 2 Unidentified photos of hunting lodge with black bear sitting in front of hunters with shotguns. Man on beach with one piece swimsuit riding donkey.


Sheet 1 (backside): 4 Unidentified photos of women in formal dress & children playing/posing.


Sheet 2: (2) Unidentified Street Scenes of Dickson's Meat Market. Theo Olson's Craftsman shop in one of the photos. Tropes Block building with Blackstock drug store in foreground. Man holding puppies and butcher (presumably from meat market) holding knives


Sheet 2 (backside): 5x7 wide eyed elderly lady.
