BLUE & WHITE DECORATION

A really pretty Turkish handmade Kutahya bowl and cover attractively decorated with stylish floral sprays and neat borders in the traditional cobalt blue colour on a white ground. The border to the cover echoes that to the top of the bowl proper and is furnished with a neat and daintily decorated finial.

It is in very good used condition (please see image of mark and foot ring). The insert rim to the cover is a little rough in places and shows signs of a tiny nibble caused BEFORE GLAZING and so during manufacture.
