Ansel Adams was born on February 20, 1902, in San Francisco, California. 

Adams rose to prominence as a photographer of the American West, particularly Yosemite National Park, using his work to promote conservation of wilderness areas.

He died in Monterey, California, on April 22, 1984

In 1941 the National Park Service commissioned Adams to create a photo mural for the Department of the Interior Building in Washington, DC. The theme was to be nature as exemplified and protected in the U.S. National Parks.

We use a bright white high quality 260gsm white photo paper with a satin finish printed with no border and they come rolled in a tube. The lighter cheaper photo papers tend crease easily. We find the heavier  paper tends to handle much better and has a beautiful rich look and vibrancy of color.
