UN PONTE DIRETTO DELLA CONOSCENZA ERMETICO-ALCHEMICA, CHE VA DAL MEDIOEVO PER ARRIVARE INTEGRA FINO ALLA TIPOGRAFIA DEL COMMENDATORE SCIPIONE LAPI NEL 1910.
Nasce così, soddisfatta e preziosa, l'edizione del 1910 di Un libretto d'Alchimia che qui si ripropone per la prima volta nella sua integrità e di cui si leggeranno con divertito sorriso borgesiano le due prefazioni d'epoca. Il libretto " soffrì " d'una certa notorietà per l'interpretazione ermetico massonica che ne dette Arturo Reghini, sensibile e corretta, per altro, e che qui si riproduce, a titolo documentario, in appendice. " Soffrì ", appunto, perché le tavole furono descritte, ma mai ulteriormente riprodotte. In pratica il " libretto " fu conosciuto in prima mano soltanto da pochissimi perché ben presto scomparve dalla circolazione. Due copie risultano essere: una alla University of Glasgow, l'altra alla Northwestern University ( Chicago). Di dieci ne sono perse le tracce, l'unica di cui si ha conoscenza visibile è questa dell'inserzione.

A DIRECT BRIDGE OF ERMETIC-ALCHEMIC KNOWLEDGE, WHICH IS MEDIUM FOR COMPLETE INTEGRATION UP TO THE TYPOGRAPH OF THE LAPI SCIPION COMMITTEE IN 1910.
The 1910 edition of An Alchemy Booklet, which is here for the first time in its integrity, is born, which is a happy and precious one, and the two prefaces of this period are read with amusing borgesian smile. The booklet "suffered" a certain reputation for the masonic hermetic interpretation that Arturo Reghini called it, sensible and correct, for another, and which is reproduced here as a documentary in the appendix. "Soffrì", precisely, because the tables were described, but never further reproduced. In fact, the "booklet" was first known only by very few because it soon disappeared from the circulation. Two copies appear to be one at the University of Glasgow, the other at Northwestern University (Chicago). Ten of them are missing the traces, the only visible one is the insertion.
