Nice Silver & Bronze Age "Big" #1's Comic Combo from
3 Marvel & 1 DC!  Great Art & Great Comics!  1964-1975
Comics & Grades as Noted Below:

1.) 80 Page Giant Superman Annual 1964 by DC 25¢, Silver Age Superman Classic!  This is a Key Comic & quite pricey in the higher grades, including a sale over $5,000 a few years back & many above $1,000 in the 9.0+ grades.  This is not a high grade, but is fairly solid & a great comic to have.  Cover has good color & images.  Staples are inside the cover on the pages, not through the cover. Comic is complete & attached, but has handling wear, there is a 1.25" double spine split at bottom & one other see through .25" paper break on spine, a moderate spine roll, some color break creases & a page 1" tear on back cover, some corner wear & some tanning to cover interior.  Cover is likely VG+ but pages are much nicer. Pages are O/W to cream, but F/VF. Overall grade should be a F (6.0) or so, but you can judge.  A little tough to really nail the grade on this as cover & pages vary a bit. The last 3 pics in gallery are extra ones of this comic as it has most value in bundle & we wanted you to get a better look at comic before buying.

2.) King-Special The Invincible Iron Man #1, 25¢, Marvel Comics Group, 1970 (Late Silver/Early Bronze). Another Classic comic, not perfect, but great collection addition. Cover has nice color, images & some decent gloss left. There are handling marks, a spine crease, a center no color break crease that extends to pages but does not effect their look. Small 3/8" split at lower spine (staples are inside comic). Corners have moderate wear. Cover is F-, pages are cream to tan, but images & artwork are great. Pages likely F+ giving comic a F (6.0) overall rating. Not a high dollar comic but a great combo throw in!

3.) Giant-Size Captain America #1 1975, 50¢ Marvel Comics Group (Bronze Age) 68 Pages.  Stan Lee & Jack Kirby. Classic big boy with outstanding story & art. Comic is really nice, cover has a nice fresh look with only a few minor imperfections. Colors are great as are images & has original sheen, there is a soft crease that may be from production about 3" above bottom left.  Other than some over the staple imprints on cover (as staples are inside the cover on through the pages) the cover looks Minty.  Pages are a little O/W, but otherwise really nice.  We would give this comic a NM- (9.2).

4.) Marvel Triple Action #1 25¢ Marvel Comics Group 1972, Bronze age.  Jack Kirby, Stan Lee. Nice old comic. Dr. Doom, The Thing, Silver Surfer.  Pretty nice comic, cover has great color, images & nice remaining gloss.  There are some handling marks & a corner crease fold top right & softer fold lower right. Some minor wear to spine as well. Pages are O/W to cream & have minor folds at top & bottom under those on cover.  Overall still a VF (8.0) but kind of looks nicer under plastic.

When offering an opinion on a comic's grade or condition, we try to utilize the more accepted and common grading standards used by professional grading services with a somewhat conservative lean.  In addition, we try to detail the overall condition of a comic, including interior pages along with the cover.  Likewise, we try to show multiple interior page photos to further assist you in determining what you feel a comic's condition and value may be.  Finally, we always suggest that buyers use their own opinions on grading and value and not our own.  While we have never had a legitimate complaint on our descriptions of comics or other collectibles, antiques and other items we sell, we are not perfect.

Please look over all pictures taken for your consideration and use the zoom feature if needed.  They are to allow you to determine what you feel a book's condition & value may be.

We try to start our auction (or priced) listings below reasonable market value based on our observations & sales information (price guides & online sales) available, but we know all people are free to judge as they feel is correct.  Note also, occasionally comics may be selling higher or lower than guide values due to market changes, death of artists, film releases or other factors.  All value is ultimately determined by what buyers are willing to pay, based on their opinions.

95% of our Comics are sold as part of a private collection amassed by a consignor covering 40 years of 1940's-1980's comics. Over 1,000 #1's or 1st Issues coming as time goes by.  Collector focused on #1's. This is a consignor & not our own collection.  Many from his collection have been bagged and put away for over 30 years.  We have already sold over 300 #1's including the X-Men #1 (1963), Iron Man #1, Aqua Man #1, Archie #1, Peanuts #1, Mickey Mouse #1, Captain America #1, lots of 1950's TV Genre #1's and dozens more #1 Super Heroes, rare War Comics, Disney, Sci-Fi, Horror, Super Scarce Goldies, and other.  We will keep listing as time allows and we are just scratching the surface.

Let us know if you have questions.  We can (and do) bundle comics for discounts & shipping savings as well.  If you buy more than one comic or items and would like bundled shipping, let us know prior to paying.  This allows us to invoice you and properly insure items & saves you quite a bit on shipping.  If you buy only one comic, just pay & we will get your comic on the way to you.

We ship quickly & with great care.  Comics will be bagged, boarded & double boxed for protection & fully insured.  We do not require signature upon delivery on comics above $100 unless you request it or if it is required by shipping service due to value.  Comics above $1,000 will be shipped FedEx for insurance purposes.  We ship Priority International to Canada unless otherwise requested.

This was a recent buyer's feedback: "Great packaging. Easy fast shipping and transaction. Best packing I've ever seen."

We ship with extreme care!  Of course there is free local pick up and we can meet to assist if you are near Indianapolis or driving through.  We do this often.  We do not require signature confirmation on most items above $100, unless you request otherwise.  Be aware your state or locality may have sales tax.  Also, we have discounts with FedEx & eBay on shipping which do not always show up in eBay estimates on shipping. We try to refund what we can when there is a notable difference, but we do not know until we actually run shipping.
