DESCRIPTION
Fo-Ti, or Ho Shou Wu translates to roughly "Mr. Ho's black hair". The name comes from a legend that an impotent, elderly man with gray hair stumbled upon Fo-Ti and consumed it; thereupon, his hair turned black and he was able to father a child. Modern science supports this ancient reputation. It has been found to be a libido enhancer and longevity promoter. It is very high in zinc, which is essential for proper sexual functioning. 

There is another legend about this herbal medicine. Chung Yun, a famous Chinese herbalist who reportedly lived to be 256 years old, used Fo-Ti on a daily basis.
