Made in the 1980's -1990's...the dark specks are a little different from the newer version of this color...the specks are embedded into glazing finish on these vintage tiles. The newer version has a different process that looks like the specks are sprinkled on the top of the glazing.
These Bright Glossy type tiles are brand name Daltile Co.
These tiles are
4-1/4 inches by 4-1/4 inches by 5/16" thickness.
Using my digital calipers tiles measure 4.29" wide on the self-spacing lugs and .31" thick.
Measures 4.25" wide on the square edge.
Using a Daltile color chart: Pepper White #D-147
These tiles have self-spacing lugs; little bumps on the edges that
separate the tiles for grouting.
Imprinted on back of tiles is: Daltile.
