LADIES 14K WG 8 DIAMOND (1 CT TW) SPREAD BAND COCKTAIL RING SIZE 6-1/2 TO 6-3/4

This is a very attractive lady’s cocktail or right-hand ring.  The metal is 14K white gold and the band is solid at the bottom and then splits into four (4) narrow bands at the top.  There are 8 diamonds on the ring, which together total 1 carat of diamonds, according to the original receipt.  These are nice white diamonds and sparkle brilliantly in the light. The diamonds are set in what I would call a kind of unique modified bar / bezel setting; two diamonds on each of the four narrow bands. The ring in my photos is the actual ring you will receive.  Please be sure to read the “AGE AND CONDITION” and “APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS” paragraphs below.

The ring is marked “14K” and there is also an unidentified hallmark on the inside of the band – see the photo of the mark. 

This ring belongs to my daughter, who bought the ring new in 2003 at a Roger’s Jewelers store.  Her fashion tastes have evidently changed and she asked me to sell it for her.

I want to be clear that I am not an expert on jewelry.  I have not had this ring appraised or examined by a jeweler and I am describing the ring exactly as I believe it is made and the materials that make up the ring.

Age and Condition

Circa 2003. 

It is in very good to excellent condition.  Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item.  In looking the ring over with a loupe, I see only some light signs of use to the outside of the band, which is exactly what I would expect see on a gently used ring of this age.  None of this is visible to me without the aid of a jeweler’s loupe.  I see no dings to the diamonds.  It may have a bit of tarnish to the metal, as would be expected on an older ring like this one.  Other than what I have mentioned I see no problems with the ring.  It is beautiful and ready to wear.  Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is.

Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos, it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.  It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo.

Approximate Dimensions

The ring is about a size 6-1/2 to 6-3/4, fit snugly on a mandrel – see my photo of the ring on the mandrel.  By my measurement, there is one (1) diamond about 4 mm in diameter, three (3) diamonds at about 3.5 mm in diameter, three (3) diamonds at about 3mm in diameter, and the smallest one (1) at about 2.5 mm in diameter.  The band measures about 1/2” (1.3 cm) at the widest point at the top of the band and about 1/8” (0.3 cm) at the narrowest point at the bottom of the band.

About .25 ounce (7 grams).

For auctions, if you do not send an instant payment through PayPal, I will send you an invoice within 24 hours of the end of the auction.

PayPal is my preferred method for receiving funds and payment is expected within 3 days of the completion of the auction.  I will normally ship within 1-2 business days of receiving payment in my PayPal account.

Shipment will be via the USPS First Class Mail at no additional cost to the buyer.  For safety and security reasons, depending on the cost of the item, I may elect to require a signature for delivery.  A delivery confirmation (provides electronic tracking of the shipment) is included with all domestic shipments paid for through PayPal.  Please take the shipping costs into account when bidding.  If you purchase more than one item, I will do my best to combine shipping costs to save you as much as possible.  If you want your package insured, you must let me know in advance of payment.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS

The only form of payment I accept from international buyers is Pay Pal.  No exceptions!

International shipments will encounter longer shipping times due to distance and Customs requirements.  The USPS says 6-10 business days, but it can take longer.    International buyers are responsible for all customs fees, duties, import taxes or other related customs or import charges and all our out-of-pocket costs incurred in the shipment of packages internationally.

International shipment options will be via USPS First Class Mail (when the item being shipped meets the requirements of that service) or Priority Mail when it does not.

DO NOT ask us to show a lesser value on the Customs Forms than the item sold for, or to ship the item purchased item as a gift.  Ebay requires us to report any buyer to them who requests this.
