I've learned theres a trick to combining shipping if you haven't been able to figure it out, here it is:

1) use a pc, not your phone or tablet

2) add items to cart

3) click "go to cart" not "go to check out"

4) click "request total"

then voila, I will get a notice to invoice you with the combined shipping amount.  If there's still any confusion with the process contact me and we can figure out a solution.
