Up for your consideration is here a rare,  antique, large, Rococo style, diveded Centerpiece Bowl with red and white Poppy Flowers and buds.

The item is not marked but has the number "5002  : 22" painted in gold color on the bottom. With our research we found the same designed items of hard paste porcelain in Joseph Schachtels Germany designs. He produced hard paste porcelain from 1859 - 1919. 1875 the factory got its own painting room and  started selling the 'Rococo' pattern (slaskaporcelana.com). He also used the gold color numbers to mark his designs. We can not give any warranties of the origin, but material, shape, color pattern and design support our opinion.

This design here is rare because it has a regular swirl handle instead of the lobster often used as handle.

App. Dimensions: L 14" x W 10.25" x H 3.75"

The item is in excellent used condition. There are no chips, no crazing, no scratches visible. The handle and the rim have an age and use related loss of gilding. Exactly that makes this antique bowl eye catching, attractive and special. Please also check our pictures as they are part of the description.

Wonderful addition to your collection. Great antique gift, i.e. for Mothersday or Valentinesday.
