This organic album was handmade on the island of Bali and each page is constructed of bamboo and rice.
This spacious album has 20 (10 front and back) pages and includes a protective sheet between pages. It can be used as a journal or to hold art work or for photos or for gift giving.
The paper is created from recycled bamboo fibers. The covers are made from indigenous plants and trees from Indonesia. These materials may include leaves from the Butterfly leaf daun kupu kupu, the bark of the Fern tree (pakis lemputu), bean pods (lontoro) nutshells (panggi), papaya fibers the veins of the palm leaf (lidi) or other native species. Local artisans then assemble them for export."
