IF THE OPENING OF THE BRACKET THAT HOLDS THIS MOTOR IS LESS THAN ONE INCH (1"),

THIS IS THE WRONG MOTOR AND WILL NOT FIT YOUR MACHINE.

This is an electric chute motor for multiple models of MTD and YARDMAN snow blowers. This chute motor is also called a "Crank Motor"

is a direct fit and replaces 953-0912A, 924-02449B, and 724-0249B. Another style of chute motors used on CUB CADET, SNOWBOSS,

and WHITE SNOW BLOWERS was a universal motor that had a flat electrical connection and came with a universal electrical connector.

Look for a bulge in the wiring harness. Most of these assemblies came with heat shrink tubing to go around the old connector where two wires

were inserted into the original connection. Check to see if the original connection has a waterproof male connection.

This motor is made for those snowblowers that have a one (1) inch opening in the mounting plate. If the opening is smaller than 1", this motor will not fit.
