Alesis Sanctuary QCard !!! - includes LIFETIME Warranty !!!
WORKS with ALL QS models, including the QSR, QS7, and QS8 !!! NOTE - this card works in BOTH SLOTS of the QSR, QS7, and QS8 !!!
No Longer Made by Alesis
The Alesis Sanctuary QCard is in excellent cosmetic and working condition. Also included is the Alesis Instruction Booklet/Patch Charts and the Protective Jewel Case.
Note that this card has been Refurbished and is guaranteed to be in excellent working condition, with a LIFETIME warranty. QCards are comprised of several primary components - the Outer Casing, the 68 Pin PCMCIA Connector, and a Circuit Board containing many electronic components including Flash Memory Chips, ASICs, Transistors, Capacitors, and a primary Controller Chip. My Refurbished QCards have had at least one or more of these components replaced to guarantee that the card meets (or exceeds) the original factory specifications. My "refurbishing" process actually makes this card more rugged than a standard QCard!
If you are looking for any other QCards or Quadracards, feel free to e-mail me through eBay and let me know what you are looking for. Because I also buy and trade QCards, I always have a decent inventory of good used cards in stock at any given time - so it is best to e-mail me for price and availability for any other cards you may be interested in. Note that if my ad specifies "refurbished" then at least one (or more) of the primary components has been replaced, but if the ad does NOT specify "refurbished" then the auction is for a good condition used QCard, NOT a "refurbished" card.
This card works in the following synths:
Designed for the creation and performance of spiritual music for churches, musicians and composers, the Alesis Sanctuary QCard offers a huge variety of instrument, choral and special effect sounds for use with Alesis QS and QuadraSynth Series synthesizers. I have found that many of these patches also work great for popular music, especially if you are looking for excellent choirs, strings, warm string and choir synth pads, and very clean electric pianos with a slight "Bell" quality added. There are also some handy sound effects like Wind and Rain.
The Sanctuary QCard was specifically created to inspire anyone who writes or performs sacred music. You’ll find a massive eight megabytes of 16-bit, 48kHz linear, master-quality samples that are used with state-of-the-art synthesizer voicing. The samples include pipe, tonewheel and combo organs, crystal electric pianos, handbells, chimes, warm synthesizer pads, orchestral instruments, several different vocal and choral ensembles, special effects and much more. These sounds are the building blocks for the programs and multitimbral mixes that are contained on the Sanctuary QCard. This QCard offers a self-referencing design, making it 100% plug-and-play. In other words, all you have to do is plug the card into your Alesis synthesizer’s innovative PCMCIA card slot, and all the sounds, programs and mixes can be accessed immediately. Contains 128 Presets and 100 Mixes.

My comments |
Incredibly beautiful and majestic holy patch with Pipe Organ combined with strings and vox, all controllable by the 4 sliders. |
Glorious Brass from middle C, below middle C are "Bells" controlled by Slider A. |
Beauty and the bell. |
Nice soft chapel pipe organ, with a nice, heavy pipe "wind" attack that diminishes as the notes get higher. |
Majestic pipe organ. Check out when the lower register comes in... |
Jolly gospel organ. Has Leslie effect, with Leslie speed controlled by Mod Wheel. |
Nice bell percussion. |
Classy harp; Slider A adds "Echo-Plex" style delays with an "Echo" of each delay, as many as 8 distinct delays (with Slider A "Full Up") with the delays slowly diminishing until they disappear. |
Uncannily realistic bells; Slider A adds "Echo-Plex" style delays with an "Echo" of each delay, as many as 4 distinct delays (with Slider A "Full Up") with the delays slowly diminishing until they disappear. |
Clock tower |
Nice and moody, and all 4 Sliders have an affect on tonality for a wide variety of tones from one patch |
Awesome! An electric organ from the '60s with kicking pedals on the left. |
Classic and mega-powerful pipe organ with pedals on the left. |
Lovely and cheerful, DX7 style Fender Rhodes with nice "Bell" effect. |
Sounds like a night in Nazareth. |
Great vocal patch, Slider A "Mellows" the tone. |
Considering the limits of sampling, this is a VERY nice solo vox. |
Incredible vocal patch!!! The key velocity triggers the "aah" or the "men" phrase, making it very useful and playable. |
Classy choir. Very realistic in the higher female octave. |
Nice boys choir/solo voice combination with background "Crickets" in the famous garden of Gethsemane. |
The storm before... (rain and wind) |
...Noah's Ark. (HEAVY rain) |

I now include a LIFETIME WARRANTY with all of my QCards.
NOTE: I believe in fair shipping fees, but due to US Postal Rate changes, the shipping fees have gone up again (1st Quarter of 2022). I securely pack my cards using cardboard inserts and bubble packs, and the Post Office NO LONGER ships these packages at the letter rate. And they ALSO drastically changed International rates. So my new shipping fees are $5.50 via US First Class Mail and $10.00 for Priority Mail in the Continental US. Worldwide shipping is no longer a flat rate and has just about DOUBLED from 2012 rates. I have found the new rates to range from around $13.00 to $16.00 (used to be $6.00 to $9.00), depending on country. Sorry about this, I have kept my rates constant and fair for years but the recent rate changes have forced me to make these changes. Add $2.60 more if you want shipping insurance in the US. For International packages, you MUST select Express Mail International if you want shipping insurance as the USPS will NOT insure First Class International or Priority Mail International packages. I DO COMBINE SHIPPING, but please read first if you are purchasing more than one card. For US shipments, the eBay shipping calculator should automatically combine the shipping fees - BUT, for International shipments you MUST wait for my eBay Invoice before paying if you want the combined shipping discount. eBay's shipping calculator does NOT work correctly for International "combined shipping" fees. I will send you a corrected eBay Invoice if you purchase 2 or more cards. My "combined shipping" fee is calculated as the standard shipping fee plus $1.00 for each additional card. PayPal accepted. |
