DESCRIPTION: Here is a late 19th century Italian glazed pottery Commedia del arte figure possibly of of a Pierrot but not sure as i was unable to find this figure. Dressed in a white costume, cape and hat with green line decoration. He also has a brown belt, black shoes and a white neck ruffle collar. he is leaning on a brown a green painted post and a green patch of grass painted to the top of the base. The figure is standing on a relief moulded base with yellow and orange painted scrolls and leaf type decoration. The figure is unmarked.

SIZE: The figure measures 6 7/8 inches high. Weighs 190 g before packing.

CONDITION: There is a little glaze loss to the tip of his nose and a smaller piece to the side of his nose. Otherwise in good condition.
