This is a charming handmade Afghan tribal and geometric vintage accent rug. This Afghan is high quality, hand-knotted with precise small knots and soft lambs wool for a full thick pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The overall pattern is a repeating small tribal paisley-like motif known as a "boteh", an ancient precursor to today's paisley.  The neutral backdrop of warm ivory is covered with tiny paisleys in pink and lavender with crimson leaf-life accents.  The intricate border is the palest shade of mint green with a small floral and vine pattern of red blooms with orange, pink and white accents surrounded by crimson and white ribbons and framed by rows of tiny pink and blue triangles. These delicate repeating geometric designs add an elegant finish to this unique piece.  All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  This rug is on sale because it has some minor imperfections and some slight discoloration, a very slight yellowing in some areas of the backdrop.  See last 2 photos for close-ups.  Nearly impossible to notice!
