This is a 66 year old American Flyer Train purchased at S Fest in 1995. It has been on display and has not been run except to test it. The Silver Flash was produced in 1956. The diesel roar and horn can be found in the PA unit. There is no horn button with this train. The diesel painted silver, brown and orange with markings. It has two riveted metal steps with Pull Mor traction wheels. CB&Q 1956 coal simulated coal car with knuckle couples, Tuscan paint and it is marked the Burlington Route. The 947 Northern Pacific reefer is from 1956 with a sheet metal frame sinster-iron truck, sides operating doors and knuckle couplers. It is painted orange and Tuscan. the three dome 1956 Gulf tank car #926 has metal railings and ladder. The 920 Southern gondola has knuckle couplers. The 930 Tuscan caboose is lighted but needs repair (see photo). It has brake wheels and is adorned with brass colored railings and ladders with a metal stove pipe out of the roof. 
The diesel runs in forward and reverse and has the pause between direction changes.
