5 colors liquid (yellow, violet, red, blue, green), 5 ml shellack, 4 sheets decorative gold foil, 1 pair of gloves, instructions

Usage instructions:

  1. Boil the eggs in salted water and leave them in it to keep them warm. Separate each color from the blister with scissors. Cut the tip of the desired colorand pour it into a bowl. Add 150ml hot water and 2-3 tablespoons of vinegar. Dip the eggs one by one and pour over them until they obtain the desired color.
  2. Leave the eggs to dry (if there is a drop of egg dye left, soak it gently with a napkin), then apply the shelllack evenly on the still warm shell of the egg with a brush. Wrap the egg with a sheet of foil, the matte side is to the shell and lightly press with your palm to fit well. Set the packed egg aside while varnishing and wrapping the next one with foil. Carefully unpack the eggs. In places where you want, you can repeat by applying a small amount of shellack and re-stick the foil with light pressure. The foil can be used as long as there is metallic sheen on it.
  3. Caution: do not wash the brush with water – when immeresed in alcohol or shellack, it softens again!
