The stainless steel probe, which has a temperature range of -40°C to 250°C (-40°F to 482°F), has a 1.5mm tapered tip that will only leave a small mark in food, helping to retain its flavour and moisture.

USDA cooking temperatures for meat, poultry and fish on the protective sleeve ensure you always have the correct cooking temperatures close to hand.

No disposable batteries are required as this digital thermometer uses a lithium ion battery which can be recharged via a USB cable (included with the thermometer). Once fully powered up there's enough charge for around two weeks of normal usage.
