High Lights
  • TR2 tube buffer is based on 6N11 dual triodes tube,6N11 have a bulk subsitution include 6DJ8/6922/ECC88/E88CC/CCA,It is very musical tube with excellent extention at high frequency and very low noise,Also great driving ability with higher current than other tube buffer with 6J1 or 6N3. It is designed for audio purpose,The cost of 6N11 is around 10 times to 6J1.Users can use bulk tubes to taste different sounding,Not alike many tube buffers.
  • TR2 tube buffer is powered with +- DC power supply from DC22V to DC28V, The advantage of +-power supply is that tube works at wider linear area to get better dynamic and lower distortion, Most tube buffer use single DC power only so the dynamic is not good enough,TR2 has great dynamic. It can share DC power with preamp stage or DAC, Most DACs has dual 15V to 18V AC power so the rectifiered DC voltage is between +-22V DC to +-25V DC, It is not neccessary to add one more power transformer.
  • Filament power supply is 6.3V DC or AC, Users can use LM7806 regulator chip to power 6N11 tube, 10% talerance is allowed for tube.
  • TR2 is in very small size of 64mm*45mm, Can be installed in audio equipments which has not enough room for big tube buffer,It is easy to add TR2 tube buffer into other audio devices.
  • TR2 use dual side PCB board layout, Components can be mounted on two sides except tube socket,Users can install big components on the PCB, It is very flexiable
  • High quality components used on the tube buffer, Resistor is 1W metal film with low temperature drift,The resitor has copper legs which is more better than iron. Input capacitor is ERO and output capacitor is quality MKP caps(Red coaxial capacitor,We have done many comparasion and found it is the best for the tube buffer).
