This PSU includes a couple of extra rails for mods (5v and 12v) and comes with a 3d-printed socket for the ac/dc adapter at the back of the console (in white; let me know if you want it in black).
This is extremely easy to install (just open up the console, remove the stock PSU and plug the ReDreamPSU in, no soldering required at all). As you can see it is a neat and tidy solution.
Please note that this design follows PCB layout best practice and that the choice of components is tailored to the specific needs of the Dreamcast. All components are good quality branded ones. When used with a good 12v adapter, this PSU offers a ripple+noise output of around 30mV on the 3.3v and 5v rails under load.
This has been tested with both original GD-Rom drive and ODEs (GDEMU and MODE).
You'll have to source your own 12v ac/dc adapter for this (I recommend a good quality one with at least 4A and positive centre tip, size of the barrel is 5.5*2.5mm).
