For sale is an original heater temperature control thermostat for a 1960 Oldsmobile. It is part number GM 578107. This was removed from a 1960 Oldsmobile 98 with factory AC. It should fit all 1960 Oldsmobiles and perhaps 1959 Oldsmobile models as well, but please check all applications before purchase.
This unit is in excellent condition. It comes with the Bowden cable which connects to the heater slide control to regulate and adjust the temperature. The Bowden cable slides easily in and out and all levers work as they should to regulate vacuum which, in turn, regulates the hot water flow. This part is used, however, I see no reason why it cannot be used on anything from the daily driver to the show car.
