BoffinBeads offers discerning Ebayers today the chance to purchase this unusual set of antique vintage carved cinnabar earrings with matching smallish bangle bracelet as you see in photos 1 - 11 above. Unusually interesting earrings because they are beautifully carved and have the most divine little filigree silver beadcap ends as you can see with your zoom, not often seen with such nice details, with soldered-carefully loops even to reduce the risk of loss. Long silver hooks left uncleaned for the Buyer to clean to their satisfaction, can't quite make out the numbers but darker grey than they would be after polishing with silver polish of your chosen brand. Diameter of round beads = 15.0 mm quite large round beads, total length each earring = 45 mm or 1.75". Bangle is curiously heavyish making one wonder what exact material it is made from, it weighs 44.8 grams. Earrings weigh each earring: 2.2 grams and 2.1. grams, seems a lighter density than the bangle which has an inner diameter of 6.5 cms and total diameter of about 7.0 cms, not for large wrists, better for average to delicate wrists at this size. Width of bangle 16.5 mm or under 0.75" with stylised floral pattern as you see in the photos, what looks like hand-engraved tiny markings in the flowers, quite charming under magnification, couple of Maker's marks visible under a loupe. Last photo shows a coral pair of earrings we also have for sale in a separate Ebay listing, do take a browse if you have time to.
