Made in the Good Old USA but long ago discontinued. When I found out they were doing so, I stocked up. These are by far the best wide gap bass fishing hooks I have ever used, and I've used quite a few brands and variations over the years. I'm thinning out my personal stockpile a bit and sharing some of them with you. These are super sharp and slick, so they penetrate amazingly well without the need for a cutting point (which I don't personally like). They are also amazingly strong for their diameter, so I flip with them and use them for topwater frogging with braided line (I use the 2.5/0 or 3.5/0 for those applications depending on the size of the creature or frog). The 1.5/0 size is great for standard sized tubes and the 0.5/0 size is a great finesse hook and great for bitsy tubes or gitzits. This is the only wide gap hook I use.I think you will be surprised at how effective these hooks are and I'm still surprised that they discontinued them.
