These plates have quite a few flaws so please read the full description and view all photos carefully using zoom. They are SOLD AS IS. This listing is for four cook n serve platters. They have an enamel plate with a wood tray that can be removed.

Descoware described the cook n serve platter as :

“Designed for oven to table use. Cook in it, warm in it, or broil your favorite steak. The colorful porcelainized heavy duty steel retains heat for sizzling steaks or for popular oven entrees. The cork insulated serving tray makes the heated plate easy to handle. Ideal for indoor and outdoor entertaining.”

To properly care for your descoware accessories: “ just soak in suds, wash and rinse dry. The use of abrasives or scouring may damage the gleaming porcelain surface. The fine grained wood used in descoware accessories is imported Zelkova wood. Only requires wiping with damp cloth.”

The plates are a reddish orange color. The color varies a bit on each plate some are more orangey while some appear a bit more red. Unfortunately, they all have foggy spots on the enamel. I have no idea what caused it or if it can be removed. In the photos you will see what looks like foggy circles and spots on the enamel, that is what I am referring to. It looks like it may have been caused by hot food? But i really do not know. One of the plates has a chip on the enamel on the corner. All of the plates have scratches and other signs of wear. The wood trays have idents, and marks. A few also have what looks like paint smudges? Please view all photos carefully and use zoom. One of the platters is missing its 4 rubber bumpers on the bottom but those could be easily replaced. One of the wooden trays has a small crack on the back going up one of the sides but it is not visible on the top. These cook n serve platters could also be used as plates! While they have quite a bit of wear they are fantastic pieces that still have a lot of life left! They are sold as is. All flaws will not be visible in photos, buyer should expect to see other signs of normal wear that has not been mentioned. They could use some light cleaning up as well.
