Just short of 9 inches tall (22.5cm) this is a 19th century Monatsery work or Nuns work from Southern Germany or the Alpine region. Made from Wax and Lace old beads, gold thread, damask cloth and wood. It all models a figure of the the Blessed Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus, In good condition as most of its life it would have been in a glass dome or globe.
