Up for consideration is a vintage bisque porcelain figural wall plaque of Queen Louise of Prussia holding a child.  Queen Louise was married to King Frederick William III in 1793.  She produced nine children but died at the tender age of 34 years.  She was beloved by the people of Prussia who considered her the "soul of national virtue".  Her likeness was rendered by many artists into paintings and sculptures.  The 1894 depiction by Gustav Richter was reproduced onto many porcelain vases, plates and plaques.  This particular piece is a three-dimensional plaque in fine bisque porcelain.  It measures 12" tall by 9" wide; it weighs 3 lb 10 oz.  The plaque depicts the Queen holding a child in her lap.  It is unmarked but most likely made in Germany.  The plaque is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.  It is unclear when it was produced, but I would estimate between 1890 and 1910 (but that's just a guess.)
