We live in very un-certain times.  The threat of nuclear war; the abandonment of fossil fuels; fuel prices going through the roof; domestic radicals threatening civil war.  We may not be able to use our regular cooking stoves soon.

For sale is the 7-inch Blackout Stove, a portable, heavy-duty, family-size, multi-fuel cooking stove.  Uses popular fuels such as: alcohol, hand sanitizer, solid fuel tablets, chaffing fuel cans, or wood.  Adaptable to a wide variety and sizes of fuel tank recepticles.  Adaptable to most popular rocket stove designs.

You won't find a more versatile stove!

Made right here in the USA, from 11-gage American steel.  BUY AMERICAN!

The Blackout Stove is not designed to compete with the over-crowded market of lightweight, single-serving-sized backpack stoves.  There are way too many of those to choose from, and they all have the same problem - they are not suitable for cooking family-sized meals in large cooking pots, or large iron skillets in a survival/camping situation, and are usually only designed to burn one, or two fuel types.

This is where the Blackout Stove shines.  It was designed from the ground up as a heavy-duty, portable, folding, multi-fuel stove that will handle very large and heavy cooking pots, such as a large cast iron Dutch oven.  Now you can cook for your entire family at one time!

The Blackout Stove was initially designed to burn surplus hand sanitizer leftover from the covid pandemic.  EVERY STORE HAS PLENTY OF HAND SANITIZER FOR SALE NOW!!!  TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ITS AVAILABILITY.

It is made to be used with various sized fuel tanks; anything from a small 5-ounce tuna can, to a large #10 green bean can that you can get from a local restaurant dumpster.  It is even designed to perfectly fit atop a one-gallon metal paint can (a very cool design.)  The smaller tuna can provides more than enough heat to cook two steaks in an iron skillet, and have plenty of fuel remaining for cooking vegetables.

For best results, use hand sanitizer that contains at least 70% alcohol.  This type of fuel burns at a rate of about 1/2" every 20 minutes, so a 1-inch-deep tuna can will burn for 40 minutes.

The larger fuel cans will provide MUCH more heat and cooking times because of the larger surface area being burned and the depth of the can when using alcohol fuels such as denatured alcohol, or 70% alcohol hand sanitizer.

It is very easy to find a plastic re-sealable lid for most of the fuel cans mentioned, making it easy to save unburned alcohol fuel, or hand sanitizer for use later.

For those of you who are building your own rocket stove out of steel square tubing:  The Blackout Stove has custom-cut slots on the bottom so that you can adapt it to any size rocket stove from 3, 4, 5, & 6" square steel tubing, making your build much simpler.

You can even adapt the stove to a wood-burning #10 can and take advantage of free wood fuel using fallen tree limbs.  (See the photo above for an example of a poor-man's rocket stove made from a #10 can.)

Whether you use it in its minimalist configuration with a 5-ounce tuna can tucked inside it, or you set it atop a surplus #10 green bean can, or one-gallon paint can, you will be able to cook just about anything, or boil large amounts of water for coffee for the whole family, not just one person.

Take advantage of quantity discounts and flat-rate shipping by purchasing additional stoves for your family members, or get more than one for yourself for a multi-stove set-up.  DON'T BE CAUGHT UN-PREPARED!

Want an even larger version of the stove?  I hope to have the Blackout XL9 available on ebay soon.

This sale is for the 2-piece 7-inch stove only!  You must provide the various fuel containers (Very easy to obtain!  Just look in the trash can.)  Also check out eBay for hand sanitizer in bulk amounts.

I am also in the process of putting together a stove kit, complete with a 7-inch stove, fuel, one-gallon paint can, and ferro strike lighter.  Be watching for it.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED IN YOUR PURCHASE!!
