 You are looking at a nice used 1970's / 80's era XLR female to XLR female connector / adapter. This model is unknown to me? Possibly American or Japanese but the connector is a good quality build and in excellent working condition. It's an all metal construction with champagne gold finish.

 These adapters can be used on any of your vintage male XLR cables to get an extension to your microphone, guitar amplifiers or other audio equipment. It's basically used to mate two Female XLR cable together or give your cable the right end connection.
