Designed for 402 c.i.d. and larger engines with Edelbrock Performer manifolds and other brands of similar design, these four barrel carbs are recommended only for stock to Performer level applications. They are not recommended for use on RPM or Torker II intake manifolds. Calibrated 2% leaner than #1407. Includes an electric choke and detailed instructions. Ford/Mopar throttle adapter arms sold separately.

Summary: ive been through other carburetors, and you just cant go wrong with a edelbrock. American made. Easy to adjust or modify to your liking. Easy to clean and get parts for. Most of these carbs come ready to run with no adjustments necessary. They perform excellent on a stock engine, as well as any modified or built engine. Lots of custom accessories to add with a edelbrock carb. I will go with nothing else.

Summary: this went on a 389 chevy stroker motor with a edelbrock intake . after trying different throttle brackets .the best one thats the most adjustable is a 14.00 autozone throttle bracket. the bracket is adjustable and fit perfect with this application .
