It is a liana with strong, woody pubescent stems, 6-7 m long. The leaves are large, dark green, velvety below, with a jagged edge and well-defined veins, tripartite, up to 10 cm long and up to 12 cm wide. The flowers are tubular, with a tube length of up to 10 cm, about 8 cm in diameter, have pink petals and a white or yellowish center. Fruits are edible fragrant oblong or oblong-ovate fruits, up to 12 cm long and 4 cm wide. The peel is thick, greenish or whitish-yellow when ripe, slightly pubescent, leathery outside with yellowish flesh. Small black seeds are surrounded by juicy, very aromatic, slightly acidic salmon-colored flesh.- Seeds are organically grown, do not contain NON-GMO elements.
