I do try to write the descriptions as I would want them to be written as a buyer. I examine the items very carefully and then try to describe any types of post-manufacturing flaws, such as chips, cracks, scratches, or stains that I may find. I really try to describe or photograph any pre-manufacturing irregularities, but because these are not considered flaws, I could very easily accidently and inadvertently overlook something that someone else may consider as important.
Please examine all of the photographs very carefully as they are likely to be the biggest and most efficient part of the items actual description. Please be aware that any vintage handmade glass is not always going to be perfect as often times it was not even perfect when it was originally manufactured way back then. Sometimes glass may contain bubbles or tool marks, or crimping in the glass and it may also be different in sizes, or all of the pieces in any given set might not even be totally uniform. This happens with vintage glass items. Vintage linens are considered as used linens and they may have random scarce pulled threads or possibly some inconsistent yellowing. Vintage china may have scratches or possibly have places where the glaze was missed or has become worn due to aging.
The most important factor is that if you are concerned in any way, shape, or form about any item's condition whatsoever then please always make sure to ask me about the item before you make a bid or buy anything. I will always be happy to answer any and all of your questions and concerns. Please note that if you do want to ask a question after you have read the description then PLEASE do so before the 20 hour mark of the auction as I unfortunately am not on my computer 24/7 and I truly do want to be able to help you and provide you with an answer to your question(s) before the auction comes to an end.

ATTENTION  TO ALL INTERNATIONAL  BUYERS:
• Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or the shipping charges. These charges are yours as the buyer's responsibility to pay.

SHIPPING TIMES:
I will ship within 3 business days of receiving a cleared payment. If you need an item sooner, please let me know and I will expedite the shipping, if possible. Usually the shipping will occur on the very next day in most all cases. The 3 day declaration is merely only a buffer of protection so that you never feel like that you have been misled because as we all know – sometimes in life ‘stuff happens’ that just cannot be helped.

SHIPPING CHARGES:
I use eBay's Calculated Shipping System. I determine the box size and the weight and add in insurance and tracking AND then eBay calculates the cost to ship the item(s). Then I physically go to the local post office and always undoubtedly wind up adding more money out of my own pocket for the shipping costs because I under estimate on the eBaY calculating system because I try very hard to not pass on unnecessarily high costs of shipping to you.

If you are purchasing more than one item then combined shipping does apply but ONLY if you ask me (( YOU MUST MESSAGE ME AND ASK FOR IT )) The reason is that I may not notice that the same person has bought more than one item when the shipping labels get printed. I have printed and shipped as many as 25 items in one day and with those numbers, it is difficult to catch multiple purchases to one.

YOU CAN ALSO  TAKE  COMFORT  IN ALWAYS  KNOWING  THIS  FACT:
That ‘ IF ‘ the pre-calculated eBaY shipping charges should happen to exceed what the actual costs are for the shipping of your purchase by more than $1 when I go to mail your package at the FedEx or Post Office then I will always happily refund the money back to you that was inadvertently over charged to you for the shipping through a PayPal refund immediately upon returning home from the shipping office facility.

I will package your item to shipping industry standards or better so it will have the best possible chance of reaching you safely. A note on shipping expense. 

eBay/PayPal charges a final value fee of 15-20% on, not only shipping, but tax, too!?!  Additional expenses: packaging, delivering the item to the shipper, actual shipping cost (FedEx just raised their charges 5%) including insurance, and if media or international, waiting in line at USPS for 15-45 minutes.  Therefore, if the shipping looks a little high, I never see 15-20% of what I ask for.

eBay has recently begun a "defects, return" requirement.  Which states that only so many returns (whether for a defect or not) will be allowed a seller, per year.  When combined with eBay's rule allowing a buyer to return for no reason at all, this is a recipe for disaster.  Liberal returns, will no longer be considered by sellers. Now buyers will not have the return guarantees, and the sellers will be sanctioned, for allowing too many returns.  Therefore, eBay has, once again, promulgated rules which do not help either the buyer or seller, and only make both buyers and sellers look for alternative sites.  Buyers are still covered, if the item materially differs from the description.
