The devil is a completely positive character in the Czech fairytale world. Cute, sometimes stupid, slightly mischievous ... he likes people and doesn't understand when people treat each other badly.
There are never enough devils - so it definitely applies to puppets. And this handsome man from the workshop of Czech puppeteers is a beautifully crafted piece of wood. It is one of the four devil puppets that have been added to the Superstars collection.
This guy is a piece of art and the combination of traditional and moder puppet making mean he is completely unique and special. He’s hand carved from linden wood, hand painted with multiple layers of paint and coated with a real beeswax afterwards. Very detailed indeed. This living Jester marionette will definitely be the Superstar among the other puppets.
Superstars puppets have basic mobility, a simple but functional controller, binding with a solid wire and 4 threads. But most importantly - Superstars have an absolutely distinctive design!
