Vintage early 1980s Fernandes Telecaster. L series serial number stamped on the neckplate.

This guitar is a killer early 80s tele ranking alongside the Tokai Breezysound and JV Squiers of the era.

Its gone through a few mods, a Seymour Duncan 59 has been installed in the neck and the scratchplate is a replacement to house the humbucker. The bridge pickup is original I think and there is a coil tap push/push pot on the tone control ( works on the humbucker).

The switch tip is missing but I will try and source a tip prior to sending ( no promises ).

The body and neck show some marks and small indents, signs of use and age. There is some fretwear but mostly the frets are in good shape for age.

The strings are new 10s at the time of listing and the guitar plays nicely and sounds great. The Seymour is really full and bold.

The necks on these early 80s Japanese guitars are great, based on the original early Fenders and feel awesome in the hand.

Will come in a pre owned non original gig bag.
