1860 -1924 MEISSEN Hand Painted Floral Cobalt & Gold Dinner Plate
25 cm D / 10 " D Nicely decorated with three groupings of hand painted flowers that intersect the inner rim of the plate. They are painted in pink, blue, orange, white, yellow and purple. With a border of deep cobalt blue with gold gilt overlay along the edge. Marked on the reverse with the blue underglaze crossed swords mark used by the royal Meissen factory between 1860 and 1924 Has some very minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks |
