PLOT:
The seventh and last serial starring Buster Crabbe. Crabbe plays U.S.A.F. Captain Roger Drum who shoots down an unidentified plane whose pilot was bound for Africa to deliver a message to a subversive group. Intent on revealing the subversive group that the message was for, Drum assumes the pilot's identity and flies to Africa himself where he crashes in the jungle. He is rescued by the Rock People, led by Princess Phi, and is renamed Thunda, King of the Congo, after he rings a temple gong in alarm.
