This beautifully vintage necklace is NOT a modern reproduction
pretending to be vintage, so often being sold on eBay as Vintage "style" .
Vintage Chinese Export & probably
dated to the1950s, a particularly gorgeous Chinese beaded necklace comprising of 50
blue & white porcelain uniform round beads threaded onto double hand knotted sapphire blue silk thread.
A heavy strand of high gloss beads with even rounded shape, white with tightly painted deep Sapphire blue "longevity" symbols, & finished off with pretty golden gilt box clasp. Measures 66cm 30" long.
Classic Chinese Export porcelain beads necklaces in this condition & deep color are becoming increasingly rare, and now highly
collectable. Chinese Export jewelry became popular during
the late Victorian Period and lasted until the 1960's.
