Harpsichord String Replacement & Plectra Repair Kit

A must for ALL harpsichord owners

This Harpsichord Kit provides the harpsichord owner with the items that are most likely to be  needed when problems arrive.  Strings (wire), jack dampers and plectrum will at some time require replacement and do cause problems at most inconvenient times.  Having this repair kit means broken strings, jack plectra or jack dampers can be readily replaced.  

The following items are provided in this kit:-

Plectrum Trimming Block - for Trimming Delrin or Leather Plectra

Plectra Insertion Block - for Inserting Delrin or Leather Plectra

Jack Damper Felt - one length

Harpsichord Maintenance Manual - with instructions on plectra insertion, jack & slide regulation, plectra trimming, tuning, string replacement etc.

Delrin Plectra - Pack of 100 pre-cut plectra ++

Leather Plectra - enough for 10 plectra

Harpsichord Wire - Total of 4 wires - each 3 metres(9' 10") length:-

 Size 00 (.008" inches) - 2 off - 'Roslou' Polished Steel Wire             

Size 3 (.012" inches) - 1 off - Phosphor Bronze Wire

Size 7  (.018" inches) - 1 off - Phosphor Bronze Wire
