They were Hung from the Chinese Scrolls on the Walls, or used as a paper weight. 

. This has a Chop (Signature)  on the back side as per one of the photos. Could do with a clean. 

The Front has  a  Year of the RAT, and on the back, is the Chinese Horoscope of the 12 Animals.

Perfect condition and it has some weight to it,  when it comes to postage.
